The wall stood a thousand feet high and was resistant to the best siege weapons. The texts that were "legal" were ancient codes written for a context, the king knew that it is a context that produces a text which deals with the problems of the day and age. The wall would keep the context alive and thereby making the texts immortal for the ages to come.

The wall stands as a testimony to preserving a certain way of life. To dream beyond the walls would result only in unnecessary metaphysical problems which was too overbearing for humanity. Soon the meaning of the wall began to escape its context. It started when it became a monument of wonder and inspiration. Some others stricken by the sense of adventure sought to climb upon its summit (although they failed). It stood there for generations. Soon the wall became the center of political and religious activity ( I mean...who could miss that wall?).

Now what of those ancient texts? Do they lie lifeless in the museums because they have nothing to teach us?

Nay they have always taught us an important lesson - Yes it is possible to pass a great legacy - Yes, we solved our problems this way and these books contain the wisdom that build this community but as time marches on, wisdom should grow to meet its demands. Building an old context is against the spirit of the text.

Religion always points beyond itself. To take shelter in religion is not possible. The ancients responded to challenges using religion but it is against its own spirit to idolize it.

My comments on existentialism

Existentialism is not a Philosophical movement. Kierkegaard was not a philosopher, he was an anti-philosopher, an intellectual no doubt but not a philosopher.

Anyway we existentialists look at life from our own subjectivity rejecting all imposition of objective truth as a form of oppression and control. That is the reason why Dostoevesky's Christ is "apart from the truth". We begin with our own "being in the world". We are "flung into this world" and we find ourselves in the loving care of our mothers or in a dump yard, we encounter language, ritual, art etc, we encounter suffering, insanity, deception and death. All human discourses are myths, there is no objectivity in life, we embrace the goodness of life too, of non-human species and non-living objects too. We speak to them like they are also a part of this whole cosmic experience, we find that the gods of the universities and the philosophers dead and irrelevant....here we encounter the only value worth living for...love...and here in all this ordeal we embrace "the crucified God" because only he loves and can be loved.

Process and Becoming - The concept of Super- Metaphysics

"The quest" is the deep demon of human imagination that lurks behind every "movement". "The quest" is however linked to "rational consciousness" underplaying the role of "other entities" in reality. "The quest" is often misrepresented by grand narratives and "affects" the consciousness of the human subject. Metaphysics "attempts" to capture the "essence" of the quest but excludes the "actual involvement" of "existence" within its grand scope. Consider a flower, it is within the nature of the flower to "flourish" and shine with beauty but not all flowers "achieve" what is intrinsically built within its being. The causes may be various ranging from the case of a diseased plant to a violent storm. The the case of the first scenario the nature of the flower is altered by a "disturbance" within its true nature and in the second the disharmony of the "general" base of existence is visible. (the base being the "canvas" that holds a work of art). In the case of both being the case of the flower's impotence there is a general principle that binds us all destroying from our very nature the capacity to be genuine. Therefore all our "realities" are constructs because every reality is destined to non-existence. When metaphysics operates at a level where there is no connection with human reality and true "liberation", hope lies in decay and not in "understanding" the reality of existence within a world where binaries do not exist. There exist "disturbances" within the human system because the binaries are not identified with respect to "liberation". Binaries are identified within the context of "surrender" to forces that although perceived to be natural act contrary to its own nature. The notion that everything outside the human condition is in harmony with itself and only human beings are subject to this "unnaturalness" can be further questioned. There exists tragedy within the animal kingdom too and this "tragedy" is visible within human existence as well. A deer experiences pain and insecurity in the animal kingdom because of the presence of predictors but the reality of the deer's situation as interpreted by human beings is termed as "natural" because it is a certain "necessity" but this hierarchy is unacceptable when this is reflected in human society. Thus rational voice of "the quest" lies within human society and when the real quest is not visible to our eyes then we fail and enter into a system of "slavery" and often succumbing to our own "impotency".

There must exist an external "being" that is supra-conscious and is the cause of all becoming within its own realm of "becoming". Therefore it is necessary for an artist to destroy the "flaws" within his system and mold it into the entity that he conceives of. Therefore the grand-artist must be "involved" in this reality and work in harmony with "true becoming" that is intrinsically present in every unit of existence but is "absent" within its scope of being. Thus a revelation becomes a necessity.

A revelation must contain "truths" that contradict the "constructed" human nature to be genuine. If revelation is a product of "human construct" then it becomes the agent of "unnaturalness" and "slavery". Revelation must not deceive or defer but it must emerge out of a "per formative" or a "transcendental" sign that runs contrary to the natural "scope" of the universe. Thus a revelation must be eternally valid and must be the ground of all future existence.

When revelation is "discredited" then it loses its potency within the human realm and there is no hope left but speculative hope which in Marx's terms operate as "the opium" of the masses. "The quest" is crushed and reduced to "metaphysical" slavery or deceit that promises " the harmony of the binaries" without viewing natural "slavery" and unleashing anarchy within the human society and unconsciously promoting nihilism. Thus post-modernity remains a "play" and not diagnosing this unnatural construct.

Metaphysics and Existentialism

The quest for every great philosopher in India like in other parts of the world is the quest for "Truth". Truth in philosophical categories refers to a principle that is unchanging, uncreated and transcends human scope. Adi Shankara inspired by the vedas beheld the decaying world around him and was confronted not only with temporarily but also Buddhist philosophy which negates existence in search of "nothingness". This was clearly a rebellion against against "mediated" religion and harsh asceticism. Adi Shankara on the other hand was well aware that salvation or enlightenment is not disappearing into oblivion but realization of an all pervasive deeper reality he called "Brahman". He then smelt the decay of this world and went into a phase of negation, he eliminated the possibility of the truth withing sensual reality because none of the objects of nature can stand independently. He then looked within his soul and found a being that "poses the question of being" and then looked within it for affirmation because there is a radical movement that arises before and after the "question" and that is "the affirmation" (In Derridan terms). So the question was the affirmation and the soul IS. And he looked upon the decaying cosmic reality as only an illusion of the "atmaan" or "Brahman". Reality was but an illusion and the truth lies within and some mystical "ignorance" prevents us from grasping this reality and binds us causing us to be "engaged" in this "pseudo-reality". Other Indian mystics regarded visible reality was necessary creation to liberate the soul from "ignorance". Shri Ramanuja talks about different categories like atmaan, chit, achit and jiva but the end being escaping material reality and sansara.

Greeek metaphysics also looks to the world of forms as reality and this world as a "falling away" from the truth. While Indian philosophy was more mystical in nature although powerful intellect was also necessary, enlightenment was not "intellectual" in nature but the Greek philosophers sought some kind of an intellectual "liberation". While Indian philosophy looked upon the whole visible reality as unreal, Greek philosophy sought to favor specific entities in visible reality as closer to the truth than other entities. For example there was a duality between culture/nature, form/matter, mind/ body etc. Death would imply escaping this reality to reach the reality of permanence where only the soul can reach and not the body.

Existentialism was a movement which started with Soren Kierkegaard in the 19th century although there was proto-existentialists who preceded him. Existentialism does not start with metaphysics as its grounding rather its quest arises from the study of human existence and rejects all metaphysical answers to that problem. There is more to pain than mere "ignorance" (both spiritual and intellectual). There is an element of similarity where Buddhism picks up from but Buddha deals with the negation of material reality but Existentialism considers human reality as primary and that which does not "affect" human reality is not to be sought after. Existentialists do not believe in the revelation of anything that is transcendental because metaphysics has failed humanity, the God of metaphysics is dead rather existentialism believes in the divine who "walks among us in the cool of the day", suffers with us, understands us and aspires for the things we aspire for. A God who we can relate to in our miserable existence and not an almighty metaphysical reality. We need a God who weeps with us, rejoices with us, loves us and has a "conversation" with our immediate needs. And this is the Christian God, the word did become flesh and pitch his tent among us and we did see his glory as of the father's only son full of grace and truth. He did behold the injustice of our reality and he did prove his divinity by identifying himself with the needy and dieing the death of someone who loves and cares for us and God was pleased with his existence and raised him from the death and now he still lives with us in reality maybe not in flesh but as an omnipresent living reality and he speaks to us everyday if only we can hear him talk. We can see the drops of his blood in the street corners, we can see him crying with the abandoned, decaying with the prisoner, stinking with the leaper and languishing with insanity in the mental asylums crying "Who will go before me and speak on my behalf?"

Jesus was a crossmaker

He sneaks out in the night with a chisel and a saw in his hands, he has the hinges well oiled for he is a very proactive lad of eight. Wandering into the darkness of the night he wonders about its mystery knowing that even this would disappear. What would remain of me he asks himself as he keeps sawing that discarded log. "I remember that old man Noah he would do the same but I am way too ashamed to tell the world around me now. This is my destiny and I know that, let me speak to the darkness, oh I remember when someone spoke into the darkness around me, he pitied her loneliness but who will pity mine?". He keeps sawing that old piece of wood, chiseling it to perfection and there he lay down and found peace, a peace so beautiful that a sweet sleep descended upon him till sweet presence awoke him. "Oh yes I remember he comes in my dreams and tells me about time and how it has to end one day, his eyes are blissful and I am his very soul but who would believe me? But why do you cry dear sweet Father? I am yours, this world is yours, yes human beings hurt you all the time and never return the love you give them but you could change that if you want to". Then again in his heart that voice speaks to him and says " I love you, close your eyes...."

He awakes when he feels a chill running down his spine, he sees everybody look at him with disgrace and he knows that he is the man chosen for this. "Here lies a man who is the worst our race has ever produced, curses are way to pure to indulge with his being, may God curse him forever". He smiles and tells himself "Oh he would never do that, he loves me, he always did, I never wronged him, I was always by his side....Now smile upon me my God for you are my father". Then he looks up into the heaven and he sees nothingness, he sees death smile upon him, his soul is empty, that voice never existed but he called for him like how a lamb calls to his master who reared him only to feast upon him one day. His eyes looked upon him with trust knowing that his master would never do that for he remembered the day when he saved him from that lion and the bear but that was never so. He saved him from those dreaded beasts so that he would deliver him to the leviathan. His soul loses its essence, he longs for death but he never loses hope for he says "Even in death do I love thee, I can never hate, I hate nobody". That was the darkest day in history, the day love died. His blood cries out from the earth, cries out with love saying "If it takes this to save these human beings who never had the love we shared I would give my life a thousand times more for them and a thousand times again for all eternity and if it pleases you to destroy the one who has his origin in your soul for this cause your name is still blessed forever and though you have abandoned me my bones will hope in you for you are my love and you will love me forever".

Oh the day God wailed like a child estranged from his parents, he knew that his man loved him and his love would save the cosmos from self-annihilation, for only loves cares and nurtures. He recalls the time when he brought upon this phenomena from absolute nothingness and recalls the smile in his beautiful countenance for he brought it out of love. Love so engulfs him that he recalls his name again and he is really risen. Love never fails and even death cannot stop us from loving. This is the power of Christ.

A thought on the death of God and recreation

I always wondered about creation and the concept of "nothingness". Nothing is that which does not exist and nature is contingent existence, everything within nature is temporary and interdependent so much so that the universe finally rests on "the uncreated". The concept of God is a paradox, God is not nothingness because he holds creation and God is intra-dependent unlike nature. God does not "exist" like we do nor does his base his existence on something outside of him or derive his consciousness on something that he is not (which is nothing). Thus God's existence is "praousia" (beyond essence).

With this in mind let us consider the death of God. God cannot die because death is natural (part of nature) but when he incarnates by kenosis then he is totally a part of nature. One can hear the voice of the divine only when one is empty and likewise God could experience his own being because that which is natural is too insignificant to fill his divinity. Likewise on the cross when he lay dead, "nothingness" took its essence and that begins the process of re-creation or new creation (in Christ we are new creatures, old things have passed away and all things have become new), God again spoke his word and the spirit again initiates the resurrection. God was dead in nature, powerless and defeated but in his reality there exist no binaries (he is neither dead nor alive but super-alive and this life is experienced in empty death) and thus God is.

Crude "Worldviews"

The question of "being" in philosophy is always assumed to be "presence". That means that reality is singular, meaning is static and absolute, words are the absolute signifiers of a grand reality, the structures are the most important dictators of human behavior (leads us to the concept of "structured experiences") and the criteria for the absolute is static. I would like to meditate on the concepts of atheism and belief in God.

Atheism

There is an attempt of "biologically" study the origin of the question. The source is the end of the search. The radical movement that deals with the question being pre-existent and the source of the question is always deferred. The hypothesis is that a biological being poses the question. Therefore the question is of no importance and the source is centered around one individual entity who is not real. The biological self does not "pose" the question, matter is not the source. The source of the question is an individual self. The self is a construct that derives consciousness from nature and human society. Therefore I want to come up with this radical concept that the Universe poses the question and it is articulated through Human language. Thus crude atheism is not a healthy world view.

Theism

The theists do not have faith in the medium that carries the question but rather "absolutizes" the question. The question is an end within itself. The question is analyzed in many forms and a "transcendent" everything is envisioned. Human qualities are attributed to the question and the source of "affirmation" is decimated.

Here stand two opposing world-views by assuming two different signifiers to be absolute.

A Critic of Idolatry

The ancient understanding of idolatry was associated with worship of mortal attributes. The end begins with the question and the question is assumed to be "immortal". Derrida questions this movement and proposes another radical "era" of the "affirmation". A movement before the past and after the future. The question is just an illusion because it is a "trace" from the past and absolute meaning is an 'event" in the future which is "postponed". Thus the "Affirmation" is personal, flexible but not a entity that exists in the universe. The Greek "uncaused cause" and the "unmoved mover" is the "substance" of theistic idolatory and the "irrational" enemy of atheists.

Ideas and Consciousness

Our consciousness is derived from an idea that we have of ourselves which in turn is a product of interactions that our ancestors and our teachers experienced. The quest for man is super-consciousness and that quest might be futile unless we acquire a universal formula that can empirically determine that which we cannot see accurately. We must have a concrete formula or structure that can give us a "vision" of things which we cannot interact with and have complete control over that object. Human quest for autonomy and super-consciousness hit a great roadblock ironically with the "enlightenment" where they sought to establish a natural cause for natural events so much so that our consciousness is a slave to this modernity. Modernity is a reaction to mythology or tradition and not the criterion for assessing the reality of everything around us. Post-Modernity is not the solution because it is only the foster-child of modernity, we must erase all our modern perceptions of reality without reverting to traditionalism but deriving a new kind of consciousness. This new consciousness should be a solid form of consciousness with a center so rich that our actions will be in synchrony with something so eternal that produces a change that comes from within to become a being within and without. We lose ourselves because our language would be truth in the fullest being. Our perceptions of reality is conditioned by the culture of our day and we can never understand the reality of everything in its entirety. Our language was a tool that we used to understand the essence of reality but we have failed because our language has only perverted our consciousness and not enhanced it. Thus we have deceived ourselves from all quarters without hope for a great reality. We have come to a point were we have realized that there is no point, there is no yardstick and no truth we can arrive to with faculties available to us. Thus we seek to invent methods to access truth but everything we have invented does not lead us to super-consciousness. Derrida was right when he said that there is no absolute with which we measure ourselves because our absolutes are a product of the extensions of our own being and consciousness both being natural causes. If only we had a new sense-organ with which we can extend ourselves to view reality in its true essence and another than can give us an understanding of ourselves. When these are combined we can perceive "that which does not exist" in our terms. Then we would be supremely conscious. These faculties that I just mentioned are tools that have been built inside of us but we have not allowed its purest functioning. The gift of faith given to man is proof enough that by faith we know that the things which we perceive as reality came into existence because of the eternal cause and nothing defines itself in autonomy or in synchrony. There are no eternal truths within an individual being in itself or in structures within themselves but with faith we have a possibility of perceiving what "Eyes have not seen, nor ears heard or minds comprehended." This is the gift of the Holy Trinity.

The divine is to be worshiped because _ is the absolute cause. The being that does not have an "idea" of _ existence but has truth with respect to _self and this truth is derived with meaning not in anything outside _self but from _ own being. Energies of life proceed from this being and the divine is holy in _ essence. Defining is blasphemy. There is no definition but we have only an idea on what being self-existent is.

Christian Meditation-Before Creation ex-nihilo

The power of Christification of a true believer gives him the ability to transcend the boundaries of time and space. Sometimes Christian Mediation is seen as controversial and some even claim that it is rejecting the mediation of the Son of God in flesh- Jesus Christ of Nazareth. In this article I will attempt to prove that it is not so. Thus I will start with the incarnation and end with the assumption. The incarnation of the divine Son marks the beginning of "Christification". Thus we confess the mystery of our faith "Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory." This is the Holy Faith of the Holy Church. Sacred scripture gives testimony to the incarnation. The incarnation by itself does not prove anything because "creatures" outside of the "Holy Trinity" are in no way organically-linked to divinity. Thus this incarnate word should be immersed within the heart of man in such a way that there is no distinction between the persons. The heart of the Christian faith and one of the seven sacraments of the Holy Catholic Church is the sacrament of Holy Matrimony. Holy Matrimony is the divine bond fore-shadowing the bond between the Holy God and his Holy Church and both the divine and the Human become ONE. Thus we are sucked into the Holy Trinity after the indwelling of Christ occurs in us by faith in the sacrament of Baptism. The Sacrament of the Eucharist further explains our sustenance not by physical food but by the indwelling of the Holy Word of God-Jesus Christ, his flesh is given for us to consume so that he "mingles" with our being, making him one with us through the power of the Holy Spirit, thus pleasing the Father and glorifying him. This is made available in the Cross. The cross is where the Son is offered in the "Buffet table" where every son of Adam can come and feast upon his flesh, thus renewing his life. Thus we must meditate on the cross everyday. The resurrection denotes the life that regenerates us when Christ- The Holy one of God is raised from the dead and his body- The Church rises with him from spiritual death. This death is a two-fold death, the death because of original sin and the death because of us being creatures outside of God. After the assumption of Christ he becomes THE LORD of the universe and "The Alpha and Omega" the beginning and the end, the first offspring of the Holy Father and the first among those who are risen from the dead. The Church of God thus enjoys this privilege too. For the sacred scriptures say "......which he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way". The scripture cannot be clearer than this in stating that the exaltation of Christ is the exaltation of the Church.

When we then meditate upon this grace through faith in all humility and piety, absolutely surrendering ourselves to the Lordship of Christ in true repentance we have the privilege of transcending the boundaries of space and time to have a divine vision and undergo "theosis". Thus since we were a part of the father's plan from all eternity past, beholding his glory and mingling our substance with him through faith is not blasphemy for it is the greatest gift that God has given his Holy Church- Holy Union.

Meditation and mystical-assent is possible for us when we concentrate on this love of God first using our minds and our will. We must bind the entire intellect of the mind to concentrate on the Cross of Jesus Christ, then we must exercise our will to never cease this divine "intellectual" process. Then when the fullness of love culminates and overflows the boundaries of our Human reason all thoughts cease. Thus we used our mind to transcend it purely through the love on the Cross. We then go on the journey before time, before any creation. We only see the fullness of God and his divine love......................

Being and Change

That which baffles the mind today in the study of epistemology. The idea that ideas or forms are pre-existent is a baffling concept. If gravity did not pre-exist mankind then the laws of gravity would be just as "mortal" as we are. Any pre-suppositions that exist are flawed, meta-narratives are transcendent and imminent. Our human eyes and reason can only view the imminence of these texts. I go by the Judeao-Christian view on creation as the most plausible theory of "en arche" or the beginning. The other myths are really an artful way of projecting human imagination and does not deal with "true being" or "being beyond being". Judaism and Islam among the world religions did not concern themselves with preserving the mysterious ways of God as efficiently as Christianity. They are guilty of cutting down the divine in the form of a Human Person and this becomes pure blasphemy. They did have some positive effect on Christianity but that does not save them from their guilt. Their conception of God is pure imminence. Christianity on the other hand accepts the non-logical nature of God as "The Mystery of the Holy Trinity". God as substance beyond substance, God as pure-consciousness and God as a being with life and immeasurable attributes. We can make this statement about the "Blessed Trinity" because of the incarnation. Thus the Christian God is Un-caused, causing, causer, unchanging changer that changes in the line of Holy Perfection. Glory and Grace, Truth and Life, Subject to pain and pleasure in time and outside of time, he dies as a man mortally and lives as GOD immortally and then resurrects as a man who is also God in the same person. He incarnates and is not ashamed to be called a man or God. Thus all change is from God because of Perfection and Perfection in Potential. God's ever expanding power, the eternal and continuous generation of the son and the explosion of the Holy Spirit is unfathomable. Perfect in holiness, love, meekness, truth, justice etc....There is NO ROCK like our God.

This being who we know as "The Mighty Trinity" (may his name be blessed forever)is the knowledge that is revealed to all man be in in Philosophy, Science, Religion, Mathematics, Economics etc in light of our imminence. If we do not acknowledge this source we become fools because we lose our being and our interpretation becomes absolute then we become time-bound fools. As Jesus thanks the father for revealing himself to the foolish but distancing himself from the wise and in their wisdom they became fools.

In this light let us look at being and change. Pre-existence deciphered and translated into Human terms, that means true knowledge is the knowledge of ignorance because the world we study is the world of mystery and complexity. Our perception of reality is our interpretation of it and not in the sense absolute truth. The beauty of this is our interpretations might not be false but only flawed. Thus when we read a text there is always a transcendental, eternal idea hidden deep beneath which the author would not be aware of and without this idea or form we have no basis for life. When this is criticized by other Eastern religions like Jainism, Buddhism, Monism..etc then their epistemology is flawed because they find a flaw in all epistemology, since their is no divine authority and thus their authority is completely baseless. The concept of "nothingness" as a state of existence is a loss of Human Consciousness, thus all the work of a man dissolves and the concept of "Samsara" or rebirth is also dubious because the authority that generates this idea is not a real authority because reality cannot be defined outside of the self according to them. Thus the concept of "Sargna Ishvara" arises and then they affirm Christian dualism. Thus monism is flawed when it claims to be "THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH". Thus mankind has hope because he is not out of touch with the "Holy Trinity" since there is always a "blessing" in his work. His work has divine authority no matter what he does. Though it may seem that he contradicts this very being a more comprehensive reading would actually affirm divine intervention, this is natural since "There is not one thing that is created that does not have origin from the Lord". My critics would also prove my point because I do not have absolute control on what I write and so do they.

This concept is completely Judeao-Christian because this is the assumption of the "Holy Scriptures". The Scriptures make the world conscious of this fact, so mankind can rejoice because "When God is glorified man is liberated". This is what the Angels said "Glory to God in the highest and peace in Earth to man in whom his favor rests". Thus we should not be filled with fear but unquenchable hope for this is the message of the Gospel.

The Continious Self Emptying Of Christ

The Church has failed to view Christ as " The Greatest Renouncer". Many understand "Kenosis" with regard only to the incarnation but Christ renounced himself continually till his death, and in the end he cries "It is finished, I have no more to give up" as the water and the blood flows from his being. If we understand "renouncing" in the Indian context it would imply renouncing one's humanity, renouncing the immanent and trying to grasp the transcendent which is beyond comprehension. Christ on the other hand embraced his humanity and proudly called himself "the son of man" (Ben Adham, we can trace this to Ezekiel who always asserts his mortality and his link to humanity). Then what did Christ empty? He could not have emptied his pride because he was without sin. He emptied himself of his will, his dreams, aspirations and his way of approaching life. His human element had a perfect plan for his life. He kept negating it continually.

His self-emptying starts before the incarnation, when he had the plan of "Christification" in his mind. The divine son was the revelation of truth. God is Nirguna- Sarguna Brahman. Without any attributes and with all the attributes. His complete transcendence hides himself from everything that exists outside of him and his super-consciousness shines with his glory, this is translated by beings in relation to themselves and he is worshiped with respect to these qualities because finite beings apply the faculties of their minds to do full justice to the object of worship. His attributes known to us are finite and our image based on this is pure idolatry. That is why God is worshiped in spirit and in truth, this is true worship.
Such is the magnificence of the pre-incarnate son. Glory beyond imagination, life beyond comprehension, truth beyond imagination, existence beyond dimensions (celestial beings exist in lower spiritual dimensions and there are infinite dimensions).

The Pre-incarnate son descends into the dimension of time and space assuming full humanity. He takes upon flesh and thus extends his being retaining his power as the embodiment of divine super-consciousness but yet entering into the realm of mortality and limitation as a creature in Christ Jesus. This is the first state of "Kenosis". The Eastern Church establishes that Christ has one nature full of humanity and divinity, he becomes the Son of God and that of man, retaining his bliss and yet undergoing sorrow, immortal yet mortal, in pain and sorrow yet in joy and bliss. Inseparable nature, the confluence of divinity and humanity moving and existing fully in each other. The divine son fills the mind of the human Jesus with divinity and the human Jesus empties the "ignorance" imbibed in him because of his connections with the traditions of mortal, evil sinful self-loathing man. His outlook of life divinizes as he grows. He is affirmed that he grew in wisdom and stature in favour with God and man. God approved of him and he was approved of man not because they loved him but because he was a servant to everybody. Such was the humility of Christ.

In his baptism he empties himself. He identifies himself with the sinful Human Beings around him without any restraint. He empties himself when he was exposed to the dimension of evil that ascended into the realm of time and space according to divine will for his glory.

He empties himself during his ministry when he identifies himself with the scum of humanity and proudly accepts the title "Jesus of Nazereth".

He empties himself so much that there is an deep intense thirst for him to wash the feet of his disciples. He places his divine palm upon the filthy feet of semi-barbaric men who were know for their un-hygienic ways that his disciple Peter cries out "Oh my Lord, I am not worthy' but Christ only says "I came to serve and not to be served and if you do not let me do this, you have no part in me."

He empties himself in his last meal when he offers his body as the bread for all Human Beings and his blood as their drink.

He empties himself when he prostrates at the feet of God in the garden of Gethsemane crying "Destroy my will and my desires completely and let thy will be done."

He empties himself when he allows himself to be tried by Earthy rulers.

He empties himself when he allows men to maul his body, tear his beard and spit on his countenance.

His final act of self emptying happens on the cross where there is nothing left in him to empty. He loses the favor and love of the divine, he is cursed by humanity, he is denied by his loved ones, he lies battered, bleeding, in shame and in torment. As the blood flows out of his body, he rejoices to see his whole being emptied as a sign to God stating that I have no more to offer to you or to man. It is finished.

In hades he stams his authority. God raises him up from the dead, he emerges in glory. He now sits in the presence of the Almighty beyond all dimensions mediating his grace to his creatures by the power of the Holy Spirit. All of creation, all creatures and all dimensions surrender to "THE SON OF MAN". All of creation awaits Chistification.

The glory seen in humility like never seen before.

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature[a] God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature[b] of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Christ the Lord be praised forever. Amen

A thought about Christmas

Christmas today is “Every Capitalist’s dream”. We often forget the person when we are in the midst of this joyous occasion. This reminds me of a scene in the movie “Brother Sun, Sister Moon” about the life of St Francis of Assisi. In this scent St Francis is in the Vatican, he was to meet the Pope and was given a pre-prepared speech in Latin but in the Midst of the speech St Francis busts out saying “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” This makes the “great” Pope think, for he knew that in the midst of this pomp and glory he forgot his Lord.

Jesus was born in a manger, the king of glory and the Lord of Lords did not have a place to lay his head, he was born in the midst of cattle and beasts. The wise men from the East saught him in the palace but the bright star of wonder stood above the manger. Today we are tempted to seek him in places that he is alien to, in churches, in cathedrals etc but he is right here in our hearts and to know this is to know the person. We might sometimes forget his humanity, yes Christ was fully human just like any one of us but in his humanity he never did have a single second of pride, even in the garden of Gethsemane he prayed saying “Not my will but thine be done”. The early Christians sang this beautiful hymn recorded by St Paul in the letter to the Philippians

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.

Jesus himself says that “The son of man did not come to be served but to serve”. He does not seek to serve us but for us to love him. Peter found it ridiculous to allow his filthy feet be washed by “The Lord of Glory”, this is recorded in a beautiful hymn

“I am not worthy, Lord
How can this be?
You wash my feet
I should be washing Yours
Lord, I am not worthy.”

You created the universe
Almighty God yet servant of all
Man of humility
Lord, I am not worthy

"Unless, I wash your feet
you can have no part with me.
Unless I make you clean
you can have no part with me."

“If that is true, my Lord
not just my feet
not just my hands
wash my whole body too
Lord, I am not worthy
Lord, I am not worthy
Lord, I am not worthy of Your Love.”

Jesus says that if we do not allow him to SERVE us then we are not worthy of him. Such is the depth of his grace and his love. This is the person we are to celebrate and worship this Christmas. The least in the kingdom of this world is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. We serve this Lord who was the least among us. Even today he serves and he will never cease to serve us and we must never cease to love him.

A Practical History Of True Consciousness

In the beginning nothing but the Logos existed, the Logos was towards God and God was the Logos.

In the beginning the reason of the God was the only being.

In the beginning there was nothing but supreme consciousness, the consciousness was birthed from the absolute being and the absolute being was consciousness.

There can be many interpretations of this statement made by St John, according to me it is one of the greatest philosophical statements because he traces the origin of reason to the supreme being. Aristotle in his philosophy attributes all the knowledge of the universe to the Logos, the Greeks understood the Logos as the logic and the reason that governs the universe. When we look at the Greek definition of the God as the un-caused cause and the un-moved mover we can fit the concept of Logos as something that fundamentally drives the divine to act that is un-caused cause and the moving mover. Another reason why the Greeks may have regarded the Logos is such high esteem could be because of the visible harmony in the universe, that is if the laws that govern the universe did not have an absolute controller then there would be rebellion in the ranks which would result in chaos. The Greek urge to seek that which is outside of them has resulted in the scientific definition of the Logos. Thus Logos has a strong connection to scientific laws.

The Indians who represent Eastern thinking at its fullest have a great interest in consciousness, the primary question of an Eastern thinker would be "Do I exist?" "Am I real?" "Is this reality real?", thus two combat all these questions the answer was monism and that true consciousness arises from the realization that all reality is ONE then we would realize that we are the DIVINE being without attributes that is one who does not have consciousness and thus destroys the need for any questions. Buddha on the other hand saw the futility of this pursuit and reinterpreted it because he saw no reason for a God who is not truly conscious thus he said Nirvana comes from realizing that nothing exists. This was again an extreme statement by Buddha because he believed that perfect harmony can be found in the middle ground.

From these two schools of thought we can see that consciousness of the Greeks was defined in terms of reason and the consciousness of the Indians was realization of the truth. True harmony as Buddha believes lies in the middle ground, thus to build a sound philosophy for modern times we can define consciousness in terms of the reason that leads to salvation in other words the cause of salvation.

With this aside I would like to trace the history of consciousness from the concept of memetics with this statement of Rene Descartes as my tool "I think therefore I am and God is.". We can see that this statement of Descartes is a result of the evolution of Greek thought, the early Greeks were not much concerned about consciousness but only the logic of nature and science. Descartes tries to explain consciousness with Greek reason and logic as his only true ally thus he attributes the reality of his existence purely to his ability to think and reason. The major inconsistency of this statement was that he did not attribute his ability to think primarily to God as the result of his consciousness. The next question would be "What would it be like to be supremely conscious?" The answer would be simple we would have the ability to know EVERYTHING. We would have the capacity to know the truth about us, about nature, about science etc. The next question would be "How would we know what we are supposed to know?" the answer now is more complex. To trace this we need myth as our beacon to shed light on something untraceable that occurred in history. The most popular myth would be the myth found in the Bible that "God created man in his own image and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life". The interpretation would be that God shared his consciousness with man this can be seen when the Bible says that "God walked with man in the cool of the day." Man had this innate, indestructible urge to learn and God was his teacher teaching him of true wisdom and the fall of man can be attributed to the fact that he did not want God to be his teacher but wanted to be the master himself. He wanted to create an alternative Logos to control and rule over the universe but that led to his weakness and his diminutive presence in the universe but he seeks to know, that is knowledge through science, philosophy and even mysticism. Now this weak, diminutive, shallow consciousness that man possesses now is just a shadow of what he is made to be.

Consciousness can be attributed to society that is only when man comes in contact with other men will he have an understanding on himself. This is scientifically accepted because children in the past have been alienated from society for experiments but have failed to understand themselves and thus have perished for the lack of warmth and affection. Children who have been adopted by animals have the characteristics of the beast that adopted it. Thus man can be truly conscious only when he is among other men or in other words only when men dwell among other men their humanity is revealed. Thus Descartes view on individual thinking as the means to the knowledge of true personal consciousness is flawed, it can be reinterpreted by "I think because of the other, he thinks because of his fathers, they think because of their ancestors, they think because they are human beings and thought is the Logos." In other words "God is Logos therefore I am" the reason is because Logos was the creator of life and man is the physical expression of the consciousness of the Logos.

Thus being in the untruth is being in false consciousness and true consciousness comes from the realization of the fact that we are deceptive and mortal. This is the beginning to the path to truth and immortality.

A Vision of the divine

One morning I woke up in fear and my heart pounding with dread, my soul felt something radical was about to happen on that day and my instincts drove me to 'GOOGLE' and my search was 'How does one run away from GOD' and the answer was 'You can never run away from God, go to mars he is there, travel the far reaches of galaxies his presence is ever near, go to the depths of Hades and you will find the Lord waiting for you.' I felt so helpless for it is terrible to meet the Living God for you are in risk of your infinitude revealed unto you are moreover you might die because of your sin. This led me to lock myself in my room, settle in a corner facing the room, my head between my folded knees and weep. I also tried altering my consciousness but it did not work, then the inevitable happened there was a power cut and I was all alone to myself. I then started pacing the room and then I saw the portals of time and space open, it was an invisible portal and the opening of the portal was not a descent into another universe but a vision into the 'Sovereignty of God'. It was something unimaginable I knew that the 'Great Lord, the great I AM' exposed his presence to me, I was in humble prostrate begging him to spare my life but there I found that he had no intention to destroy me he revealed that a sacrifice has already been made, flesh was crushed both the divine and human suffered so that there might be a moral union between the contingent dieing universe and the eternal God who waxes stronger with age. The mysteries that were revealed to me still hold me in awe. I saw nature prostrate and worship God, I saw that the all of nature conspired to do his will and everything belonged to him. I saw mysteries unfold in my presence I had a glimpse as Jesus said "I am the bread of life." I saw the earliest of creation, angels and spiritual creatures. It struck with with awe and worship. I saw that God was intended on the regeneration of the cosmos and that one day all of creation would be 'Christified'. This moment in time was just an early age but God can quicken our maturity if he wants to. We need a new spirituality all of mankind needs a new spirituality, we must mature in our love for God and we must die to perverse petty lusts, we must overcome evil with Good and then the end of age will come and we will be surrounded with immortality. After Jesus died on the cross and was raised up from the dead the embryo of the new creation took shape. This embryo was both divine and material, fully divine because of the incarnation and fully material because of its substance and when it is fully developed God's masterpiece would be completed, he would fully organically make something that was alien to him a part of his being. This is why I believe that the origin and purpose for man is a divine mystery and man has a mysterious connection with the divine. We need to realize this connection, empty ourselves of cheap passions and allow ourselves to be filled with the divine so that we might achieve our being for it is said that "The whole of creation groans for the children of God to be revealed." We will be revealed and God will destroy the veil of illusion that we have strengthened with our mind, will and being to hide his glory. When our eyes are opened we can proclaim that "Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh Adonai and the earth is full of his glory."

Oh how mysterious are thy ways mighty God and how you rule men who are oblivious to your mighty reign and how you sway their minds with your sovereign rule, glory be to you mighty Lord for you have hid yourself away from the wise and lofty and have revealed yourself to fools making them truely wise and the wise you have made truely turned them into fools, glory be unto you O Lord for you have sent thy word to become flesh so that the mortal might become immortal and stones might be turned into the children of God. In the name of Christ my Lord I ask you this omnipotent all powerful father by the power of thy divine spirit Amen.

An idea on the incarnation

The incarnation does not me that the Human nature of Jesus served as a container of the Logos nor does it mean that the Logos was separated from the father during the incarnation nor does it mean that the Logos ceased to sustain creation but the Logos was united to Jesus Christ fully and permanently from his conception to death and resurrection.

Quote from Acts 2:22-24 " 22"Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. 23This man was handed over to you by God's set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men,[a] put him to death by nailing him to the cross. 24But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him."

Here Peter did not preach the divinity of Christ but simply preached the perfection of a Human Being and that saved people another part in Acts says that the Christians are the followers of "The Way" which means that the man Jesus charted a path to God and following him leads to God. Peter also says that Jesus Christ was a man accredited by God but God approves of none apart from himself, this means Jesus Christ was a man not with "special privileges" but a man who pleased God and only absolute holiness can please God, this means that Jesus was absolutely holy and this can only be because he is the revelation of the Son of God in flesh, fully man and fully God.

The Trinity is complex and the persons are inseparable and dwell in spiritual bliss and harmony. Yet the son suffered on the cross not physically or even in blissful harmony but he did fully participate in the suffering of Jesus Christ. His human nature suffered physically but his divine nature suffered in a way incomprehensible to Human Beings. Jesus Christ died spiritually yet he shone with the Glory of the father this shows the inseparable union with God yet he died. His physical death is a mystery too it says he descended to hell.

What we can infer from his this is that God revealed himself completely in Human History, suffered spiritually and physically in such a way as to become a full propreciation for our sins in his own terms, satisfying his own standards of justice and righteousness. It is important to know this doctrine but it is impossible to articulate and understand it completely if we did then God would not be such a great mystery after all and man has an intellectual prowess which can challenge God and in ages to come have the power to challenge God.

God is a mystery and great are his mysteries, God is not a subject to study but a Being to be worshiped but we can be aware of his ways of old to build our faith and to fulfill our purpose and one day his children will enjoy is pleasures by all means available to us because he did give us a mind to understand and he did create us in his own image.

Moses encounters YHWH on Mt Horeb.

Moses the Prince of Egypt was now a shepherd for forty long years, his youth was lost and he now lives a sedentary life tending sheep. He was the mighty prince of Egypt but he had to renounce his claim on the throne for the sake of justice. The people whom he protected also turned against him for reasons unknown. In this state of exile, he led a simple life looking forward to nothing but keep his family satisfied.
God on the other hand has seen the suffering of his people in slavery, the remembrance of his covenant with the patriarchs of the twelve tribes of the Hebrews is fresh in his mind. Israel was chosen by God to be his holy nation before creation. He was just in choosing Israel because they might have become a forgotten people in time and history. The Pharaoh of Egypt has ordered the killing of all the male Hebrew children and now they were slaves to a people who built their glorious civilization with the toil of people whom they will eradicate when their goals are accomplished. In this context God chooses Moses to deliver the people of Israel from the clutches of Egypt. The work of humbling Moses was already accomplished but now comes the time to reveal the eternal plan to Moses and what better way than meeting him personally.
In this chapter we find the richness of Hebrew theology, this is the encounter that inspires Moses to write the first five chapters of the Old Testament.
Firstly we notice an important character of God, he is always at the side of justice and his justice is seen when he chooses Israel, the lowest of all the people of the. Not a single cry of theirs was unheard but God chooses to shows all his glory when things look the most uncertain. God’s visible glory is manifest in the darkest of times when the justice of the oppressed might look uncertain but God unleashes his glory at the most opportune movement. Thus we can deduce that God’s time is the most appropriate and he does not ignore the innocent being persecuted.
Secondly when we look at the encounter with God we see that an Angel calls him from the burning bush. Many theologians like St Augustine, Haydock and John Calvin agree that the Angel is none other than YHWH himself. John Calvin says that since God has to diminish his glory to visit man he would be conceived to be an Angel but since the voice from the burning bush says that he is the Lord then we can assume that he is the mediator that is the Logos or the eternal Christ who speaks on behalf of God to all his Saints and Prophets. When we look at this person as the eternal pre-incarnate son we can also notice his involvement in the affairs of men, as he delivered the Children of Israel from the bondage of Egypt he will one day deliver the world from the bondage of original sin and transgressions. When we look at the bush that burns but is not consumed, here we see an allegorical depiction of God- he burns with flaming fire eternally but is not consumed but it is his glory. The paradox here lies in the fact that everything that burns will be consumed but the living God is more fearsome than burning fire but this is not in anyway harmful for him. Moses has not beheld anything like this in his life so he turns to see what it is, but he is asked by YHWH to come in reverence, without his footwear. It is a symbol of humility in Eastern traditions, God instructs Moses to be in humble reverence to him always for him to be an instrument of YHWH. We notice here that God meets people not to help them in their own ends but gives them a call to do his will whereby making their name great.

Thirdly we can see God introducing himself as the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. This shows the personal connection he has with the ancestors of the Hebrews. This also shows the personal connection YHWH has with the patriarchs and it pleases him to be associated with them. God also pints out that he has been active in History too and his work of redeeming the Children of Israel did not begin now but began when he promised Abraham to give his descendents the land flowing with milk and honey.
Fourthly we see Moses asking God his name God introduces himself as YHWH which translates to “I am that I am”. We see that this God is different from other gods the people worshipped in those times, fertility gods, rain gods, sun gods of Egyptians but here God reveals himself to be YHWH the living God. Challoner says ” I am being itself, eternal, self-existent, independent, infinite; without beginning, end, or change; and the source of all other beings”. This shows the living God the uncaused cause and the unmoved mover. Many philosophical categories can also be associated with “I AM THAT I AM”, I AM being not only self existent but having chid (eternal and supreme consciousness), this can also be translated as God with the LOGOS in Greek New Testament terms. This name for God will continue to be the inspiration of the prophets of the Hebrew Old Testament and it is also used by Christian Theologians even today.

Thus to conclude, Moses encounter with YHWH may be debated by many schools of thought especially allegorical schools who do not believe in the literal interpretation of any portion of the scripture. Some theologians believe in the literal interpretation of scripture where it is intended to be. I conclude by saying that whatever the reason may be to believe both schools of thought, Exodus chapter 3 is an inspiration by itself to a nation of 13 million Jews and 2 billion Christians, it was this encounter that Moses had which inspired him to write the first five books of the Bible whereby laying the cornerstone to three major world religions Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

Evolution Of Society

Civilization for me can be learned by observing people around us, their dreams, their aspirations and the allegorical carrot before their eyes. An evolved society is rich in philosophy and science whereas an uninvolved society is rich in deep rooted religious superstitions.

As we travel through time and observe our growth as a third person we will surely notice that we had beliefs we held true but as reason dawns upon us we alienate them (like a kid believing in Santa Claus) and even deny we had such ideas.

Likewise society was built upon superstition, rather "positive superstition", superstitions that help build and unite society. After the hunter-gatherer stage man started cultivation to feed his growing population but nature is full of uncertainties, an elephant rampage, drought or a flood could dash his hopes. Man always wanted control, and he would do anything for that. Seizing this opportunity a group of men, originally misfits who did mysterious things claimed they knew the secret governing uncertainty and that they hold the key to the unknown. These men were fed and clothed by the others and in return they would keep them away from the wrath of nature by unleashing the mysterious powers they held. When they could not do that they graciously accepted their defeat and submitted to the forces of nature, instead of trying and stopping these forces they cleverly decided to make peace with it. An Egyptian priest of the sun-god arises from his slumber and shower the sun with all praise, the Aztecs would offer blood to the sun so that he graciously rises the next day. As time passed by they became the most feared group of men.

Another threat man faced was his own kind, neighboring tribes would cross swords because of scarcity or insecurity, hence men within a given tribe would rise to meet their enemies in combat. The victorious would be praised and honored. Hence they were two major powers in society the warriors and the priests. For a progressive human society cooperation is a necessity. Men had to cooperate to survive or either the forces of nature would prevail or their enemies would overrun them. Hence the strongest warrior ruled and the priest would grant his blessings. So here is a man with the strength and favor. In order to keep society intact and avoid instability the king would actually have to be a descendant of a major deity and hence his descendants had the right to rule after him. The priests would validate it.

As far as economics goes there were men employed by agriculturalists to sell their goods to far away lands, these men would travel and bring new ideas to their soil and thus encourage innovation later these men became merchants.

Finally there were a group of people called the philosophers who dealt with ideas and education, these people were visionaries, philosophers only arrived at the peak of the agrarian economy. They had no place in ancient society.

Every man was still engulfed in fear, he has come so far but is still terrified about the future and hence all of society must join forces to destroy the dynamics of change for man wants control. The philosopher agreed to defend the gods, the merchant agrees to finance the king and the king agrees to become a philosopher. Thus instead of embracing change man clenches his fist and defends his ancient way of life with intense zeal. Yes society did have its externalities but these people were persecuted as they were considered "dangerous".

I tell you this because the multi-billionaires are no more than evolved merchants, our politicians are evolved kings, our tele-evangelists are evolved priests and our scientists are evolved philosophers.

Men of truth were dangerous because they "mislead" society. I urge my readers not to fear the uncertain and the unknown but hold on to the truth and transform society from their old ways. Do away with mediocrity, serving market demands or even the demands from loved ones. Serve man with truth, sincerity and love hoping for nothing in return. Human Beings are not a resource but the market dares to call a man that. We are not beasts but the man of science dares to call you that. We are more important than nature and rain but a superstitious priest might disagree. We are not made to accept frivolous laws and tyranny but a king would impose this on you. When we live in such world is it not lawful for us to resist such domination imposed on us. We have to arise, tell your neighbors. Do away with dark philosophy, pseudo-intellectualism, foolish-loyalty and greed and join the cause. The cause is the truth, the truth that will stand even when the universe is dead, the truth that promises immortality. The truth that gives you strength, courage and sets you free.

P.S: My intention is not to encourage rebellion in any way, society is important but change is too, the next time we fall into the hands of false propaganda remember that we just became a tool in the hands of manipulative men whoever it may be.

The Helper becoming the problem

I would like to illustrate the dynamics of change and charity and how we Human Beings cannot solve the problems nature has thrust upon us. A Darwinian like Nietzsche would say "LAISSEZ FAIRE" but we have come way beyond that, now charity or social work as we know it looks upon Middle Class morality as its governing principle and tries to integrate subaltern communities within its fold. The advantage is that every Subaltern community looks upon middle class morality as its guide. The middle class revels in that pride and throws some valuable gems both to the underprivileged as well as the upper class.Neither stations are secure if the coexist independently, hence nature created the middle class as a glue that holds society, the lower class creates wealth, the upper class adds value and the middle class felicitates a smooth transaction Thus in a middle class society there are strict guidelines and the backbone for every principle is to take everything in its measure and if at all you are interested in something worldly try to bring it under their underlying laws. For example if someone in the middle class wants a house, the only possibility he has open is to 'Do It The Right Way' or even if he does it the wrong way his way should be an accepted exception among the members his society. The middle class are still human and tend to be swept by the dynamics of human emotion, like envying the rich or pitying the poor being the two most prominent ones. In today's society the ones who envy the rich are found in abundance and our market dynamics has rewarded them with luxuries only the rich enjoyed decades before The second most prominent group is more complex and I would like to explain this with the help of an illustration but before I get into this let me remind you that pity is not divine love, Dostoevsky was wrong in calling The Idiot Christlike.I would also like to tell my readers that it is not easy aspiring to be rich and pitying the poor at the same time That is the reason why religion plays a very important role for the theists because they can appease their conscience and at the same time move towards their goal. The atheists on the other hand resort to charity today although it was pioneered by religion, it has lost it is slowly and inevitably becoming secular.

Let us consider this illustration and two possible scenarios as the conclusion. Remember this is not a random story and subject to change, all characters here are carefully planned along with the scenario and although the characters are fictional they come under the strict laws prevalent in society. Scenario one deals with middle class morality in charity based on guidelines and scenario two deals with middle class morality mingled with emotions. The girl in this illustration represents the subaltern in problem, the young man is the helper and the rest of the situation and characters is the dynamics of society in reality. Principles in society and the law are our parents and the only ones who care for our well being and breaking those laws would lead to punishment weather you realize it or not.

The Escape

Consider a scenario in the ancient world. A wealthy farmer decides to marry his daughter to a wealthy Baron's son. Both the Baron and the farmer were comrades in the army and have saved each other from possible death many a time. They made a pact that they would unite their children when situation demands it. The farmer's daughter was a fourteen year old lass who was protected from the real world. The Baron's son was a hot blooded 21 year old lad who took insane pleasure in tormenting his serfs. The farmer's daughter ( Esmeralda Rebellio) espied the Baron's son (William Societio) in his daily routine and decided that she would not marry him come hell. She had a soft heart and did not even like to see a serpent suffer agony. She had a twin sister who was a minute younger than she was and thus it was she who had to be betrothed to William. Esmeralda knew her duties as an elder daughter but never wanted a part among it because of her conscience. She tried to talk to her father but he knew better than to hurt his old friend and was aware of the shame he would be in knowing that the wedding was the talk of the town.

Esmeralda clothed in dark left the premises of her father that night. She was a girl who would make any fair maiden envious of her in future. She stole a horse to run away to a nearby town only to be assaulted by strange foreign bandits on the way. They sold her to a wealthy merchant in another country not far away. She was nurtured to be the merchant's concubine. Every other concubine would do everything expected of them but Esmeralda although she was the fairest of them all never gave in every time she was called upon . The merchant grew weary of this and wanted to punish her to the worst possible extent. He scared her and gave her away to his slaves and this was where the young man (Justinin Morality) found her.

The Scenarios start when Esmeralda cries to Justinan to save her when the slaves are about to take her in. He runs to the merchant and pays whatever price he has to pay to rescue her. She then falls at this feet and begs for mercy. He sees her scarred body and contemplates, she tells him about her own life and about her fathers house and about her shame to return

Scenario # 1

Justinan looks at the situation objectively he contemplates and realizes that he has done all that he could and his duty ends when he hands her over to her household. He uses a scientific approach to gather required data from her to trace her origin. She was governed by emotions but he was calculative because he knew the techniques of helping. He believed that the universe is governed by scientific laws and when one is aware of his role in the universe there is no need for emotions but only the end matters. When the means becomes the end, it is like tampering with established laws like the laws of gravity and it will only lead to more misery. He viewed suffering as a violation to existing laws and redemption as a purchase from the ultimate penalty and he did what he did because the ultimate goal for mankind is to live as one with those. By helping Esmeralda he was helping mankind as a whole to achieve that vision. Thus he handed Esmeralda over to her household.

It was eleven long years since Esmeralda's return, she learnt that her father died of grief and there was nobody to protect her. William was now the head of her father's household and he had to marry her sister. They now had children and were living quite comfortably. When her sister laid eyes upon her she was filled with joy but she had to look to her husband who was the one who was the law's ally to be her guide. Her husband looked upon her with contempt and got her whipped. Her sister could only watch helplessly because she would have her life at stake if she interfered because it was William who would decide his fate. After many days of suffering her sister could not bear her misery one night she poisoned her food and Esmeralda was no more.

Justinian was the ultimate loser for every law in not a scientific law. Human nature is the cause of all misery and not violation of laws. Its the greed of certain people that make others suffer. Every man's pursuit in life is different but when powerful people have similar pursuit like science or ultimate sovereignty they set the society's trend. The society then becomes Darwinian and the weak perish. Society should set its agenda and this should be common for all. The agenda of every society should be the pursuit of truth under the guidelines of Socrates's philosophy of Skepticism. And treat science as a means and not an end, science today is an unstoppable bandwagon. Some scientific theories are accepted as the truth and these theories like the absence of external being outside the realm of time and space without actual proof. This destroys the quest for truth in every man and is directly linked with pain and misery This goes to all areas of expertise, people who deal with knowledge should know that it has the power to kill or to build society. In today's world people who deal with knowledge are irresponsible and they make absolute statements in the drop of a hat making the truth a part of this deception and thus destroying society. In modern society we categorize people as inferior and incapable and unworthy of knowledge and people who deserve knowledge. Thus everything we see today is just a facade. It is said that we live in the age of information but in reality we living in the age of deception where there is scientific validation for folklore and the pursuit of truth is put to the sword. Society is happy with television and other mundane pleasures. What Justinian did here was he became a part of one of the false assumptions society makes.

Scenario # 2

Justinian is emotionally moved when Esmeralda cries out to him and promises to give her a life of honor and dignity. He takes her into his household as his equal, they share responsibilities and intimate conversation. Esmeralda then realizes what true love is and she sees her father in Justinian and realizes that he is her only hope. She sings and dances all day and enjoys the company of Justinian. Justinian on the other hand only pities her and is happy and proud of his achievement. He does not understand the dynamics of a woman's mind and her psychosocial problems, he does not know that he is the very source and the breath of her life and she has given her heart to him and he does not even know that. The more they get together the more dangerous and volatile the situation becomes, both of them build a fantasy world around false assumptions. Esmeralda dreams of the day she marries Justinian and Justinian dreams of the day when he has at least twenty grateful former slaves set free in his household. this becomes the driving force of Justinian's life and he is the life of Esmeralda.

As time goes by Justinian falls in love with a woman who shares his vision and they are ready to be engaged. Justinian never told this in advance to Esmeralda because he was not very comfortable with this. The night before the engagement Justinian reveals his love affair to Esmeralda killing all her hope. She only smiles and pretends to be happy because she loves him and is too ashamed to reveal her love- She was a slave girl after all and to think that Justinian could ever love her was just wickedness and selfishness on her part. That very night she leaves to the forest and allows herself to be consumed by wolves. Justinian never knew why Esmeralda left and he will never because I the author decide his fate.

The reality is we can never imagine why street children run back to the streets even if they are given food and education. This is because we give them false romantic hope and when they see the reality of the situation they are dashed into pieces.

The moral of the story is to avoid unnecessary torment we should not constrain ourselves to false assumptions of pleasure and materialism but we must integrate all mankind in the pursuit of the law maker because it was my will not to give Justinian the quest to know Esmeralda in whole. We are given the quest and privilege to seek the absolute truth, philosophy and science is a means and not the end. We are even given the knowledge that there is a higher truth. Yet we are stuck in wallowing in the means are are miserable, its time we arise and meet the end.

Without this quest we are a filthy river and we pollute everything we touch. Psalms 69:9

And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. John 2:17

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. II Corinthians 6:16

All these scripture testifies that God is zealous when it comes to his worship, not because he is selfish and haughty because he knows that worshiping him in spirit and in truth is the only sacrifice for he delightest not in burnt offerings and sacrifices but a clean, pure and obedient heart. When we worship the almighty God the almighty God the way he should be worshiped then he will exalt us to the heavenly places. Thus a heart that is free of sin is the only sacrifice worthy of God and this heart was the heart of Christ Jesus our Lord.

When the lord Jesus enters our heart after salvation he purifies it but when we still bring in thieves and money changers in the form of vain thoughts and lustful deeds the Lord Jesus who lives in us is zealous of our hearts and this is because our body is the temple of the living God and with this zeal Christ Jesus cleans the temple of the Lord. When any or even ourselves question who gave him authority to do this he answer was, is and forever be that if you destroy his body the purest temple of worship in three days he will raise it again and now that temple is alive with the father and we are his body so Christ has all the authority to cleanse us from all sin and unrighteousness although he might have to scurge us with chords.

Moses and the Law

Moses one of the greatest prophets of Yahweh and the author the author of the first five books of the Bible. God revealed himself as the Holy, pure, almighty I AM to him but when the law was handed over to Moses he wrote it down in fear and trembling and he told God "Lord pure and Holy I have broken each one of your commandments, I will surely die forever, why do you condemn me so much?" and this troubled the heart of Moses so much but the spirit of God led him to worship and a spirit of peace dawned upon him and said "No man can keep the law, I know the ways of man because I AM THAT I AM, but every man suppresses the law and loves lawlessness and sin, I give you the law today to condemn the sin in you but tomorrow I will raise up in your midst a prophet so mighty that he is my word himself and he will lead all the nations to true worship, I chose you and your tribe because you are the least among all the people in the world but I will raise the savior of the world from your tribe and he will reign forever."

Ages later the word of God walks on Earth fulfilling the law and in the mount of transfiguration his glory is revealed and Moses and Eliyahu Hanavi rise and behold his glory and the saints of Yahweh everyone of them beheld his glory and Abraham rejoiced when he saw this day, he saw the great I AM in flesh. When Christ was crucified on the cross for all the sin of mankind, the wrath of God in its fullest was poured on him, he lay bloody, naked, abandoned by God, betrayed and denied by his own disciples, the very descendants of Moses and Abraham despised him. God his eternal father turned his face from him yet he cried out " My God, my God why have you forsaken me?, Don't you remember me, I am your son of your essence and you begat me from your bosom from eternity, I dwelt with you forever and when your existence began I was with you, there was no time when we were apart, you revealed yourself to me in whole, love was matchless and you created the world through me for my pleasure but now why have you alienated me like I was a sinner?, my heart is torn apart, the eternal bliss that was mine is now sorrow, why is your vengeance poured upon me? I kept your law and did not break a single commandment, I overcame the world, sin and Satan, I pleased you completely and you glorified me father but now I am dead but I love you father and I will love you till the last drop of blood and water gush out of my body, in my grave will I sing your praises."

Jesus was taken to the grave with the dead, the immortal word dies, the father was in sorrow because it hurt him to sacrifice his son for mankind, his son who pleased him eternity but he sacrificed him for sinful, undeserving filthy mankind. He loves mankind as much as he loves his own word, his essence and now his wrath was quenched, he was well pleased for his word became flesh and as a man his son overcame, sin and death and was faithful even unto death.God from the heavens said "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased and his sacrifice is pleasing to me and the aroma of his sacrifice has overcome the stench of sin and transgression and I remember it no more for it is pleasing to me. This is the testimony God gave of man through his son and now he remembers our sin no more. He then raised Jesus from the dead and he is now seated at his right hand above all principalities and powers of the universe and God has now made him Lord of all and in him we have eternal life and he dwells in the church his body. Through him we are now more than conquers because we never kept the law but we are made holy and have eternal life. Praise the lamb slain before the foundation of the world.

Yahweh- The Attributes Of God

When the Lord God met Moses in Mount Sinai for the first time, God spoke to him through a burning bush. If man were God this would be unthinkable. Why would God empty himself into a man, a man who would also be the Son of God, the Logos in flesh, the consciousness of life everlasting, the essence of a being so supreme that life, power, bliss, purity and fullness are his attributes forever? The answer is love, love so incomprehensible and everlasting, a love for every man even before creation and time. He is the supreme embodiment of love, a love that transcends self love (The essence of the relation between man and himself ie his soul) for God is not man. The reality is three persons within the Godhead pure and holy that coexist as one almighty supreme being. God the Father from whom all purity arises, God the son who embodies the relationship of the supreme being and God the Holy Spirit the embodiment of eternal life and these persons are ONE. Belief that there are three gods is a heresy and a demonic lie. This is the reason why God commands the Hebrews that " Hear O Israel that the Lord your God is One God". The reason being that how can God who is Holy beyond dimensions exist everywhere and reveal himself to man. This brings the essence of the Son and the Holy spirit to the forefront and thus in all this the Lord is one God that cannot be understood by man. Man was created in the image of God from nothing but by the power of his eternal Word. Since man was created from outside God to be like him he was vulnerable to evil and soon falls into evil because of God's will and man's desire to be like God and ultimately dethrone God. This is the spirit of man, made completely pure but turns out to be completely impure. For this reason(Alienating himself from God and resisting his love) man has to become dust for it was God who clothed him with eternal life and distancing himself from God made him a beast and not God. Man became a creature but God's will for man cannot be defeated. He revealed himself to man through his word and because of this man began showing divine qualities and began distracting himself from beasts and identifying himself with something holy and eternal and this is common grace. Since the essence of man is evil he used this grace to be a more savage animal in the pretext of being civilized, he attributed this grace of God to creation and became vile, devious and dangerous. Every natural man is in danger of this and his definition of danger is altered by the spirit of the age in which he dwells. In today's world a civilized man is a secular irreligious individual. This eternal almighty God loved this evil world that he gave his only begotten word that man once again can gain what he lost. He chose the perfect time period the beginning of Modern Civilization the Roman empire. He chose a man Jesus who would be born through a virgin as the Son Of God in Human Flesh. Thus the eternal word of God emptied himself into a man. This man was not like other men, he had the spirit of the Ancient Of Days and preached the eternal Kingdom for all mankind- The Kingdom Of God. He was the only man conscious of God and his Kingdom and did not do anything but the will of the father. This perfect man then had to take upon himself the wrath of God for the Sin of all mankind and their transgressions. He was delivered to the hands of evil men with the spirit of fallen man. They wanted a Kingdom that was ruled by a natural man and found Jesus guilty of blasphemy because he claimed to be equal to God. they then handed him over to the Roman leader who found no guilt in him and asked Jesus if he were a king to which Jesus replied "My Kingdom is not of this world if it were there would be bloodshed". In other words my Kingdom is not of man if it were so then there would be an internal revolution. He was then taken to Herod a man chosen by the Romans to rule over the Jews he just mocked him because he was weak in the eyes of evil men. In this fashion God gave Jesus up to be judged and weighed by the standards of man, the religious leaders counted him as a threat to their position for he anointed vagabonds, harlots and fishermen, the Romans thought he was a religious reformer and the fleshly King of the Jews thought he was a madman because he could never take his position. He confirmed to none of their standards that is why they had to crucify him for in all this he pleased God confirming only to his standards and fighting only for his kingdom but all sinful man regarded him as a curse. On the cross he was taunted by the religious leaders for one last chance to prove himself, his closest disciple denied knowing him, another one betrayed him, Satan offered him one last chance to worship him thus making him the Lord of man that was the first temptation of man and a temptation that all men have succumbed to and in all this he pleased God perfect in his standards but when he looked to God for comfort God turned away from him for he was cursed by man and was hanging on the cross and the Sin and transgressions of all mankind was laid upon him. Jesus now became the embodiment of Sim but sill he cried out to God saying "My God, my God why have you forsaken me." He then died and was put into a sepulchure where he remained for three days and on the third day the wrath of God was fully quenched because Jesus obeyed and Loved God to his death. An obedience shown for the first time by a fallen man, he overcame the systems of man, the temptation of the devil and remained faithful to God. The Son Of God in flesh who was eternally with the father became a curse for mankind, overcame hell and death on behalf of all mankind. God then made this Jesus- the only man who pleased him and fulfilled his perfect will and quenched his wrath the Lord of all creation and elevated him to his right hand above all principalities, powers, and forces of creation. Through him mankind has a representative within the Trinitarian Godhead. In Jesus Christ man in perfect and pleasing in the eyes of God once again and the elect to whom God has revealed this mystery is the Church. The Church represents Christ in this material world ruled by fallen men. Although the Church is of Christ in the heavenly places it is also in the world. The mission of the Church is to prepare the world for the eternal Kingdom of God and when civilization decays and man has lost all hopes within himself Christ shall come in his glory and Judge all men but his chosen perfected saints, some me he will cast into eternal death and others unto eternal life and thus beginning the New Creation and thus elevating man to his former glory.

The Essence Of Existence

Creation as we all know by faith was the eternal purpose of the almighty God of heaven. Before creating the realm of man God created glorious creatures to be under him and man. The most glorious of these creatures fell when they rebelled against God because his purpose was to elevate man to the highest and one with his own divine consciousness or his word. This was his purpose for all eternity. When God created man to dwell in him and kept all creation under his feet, the fallen angels or the demons or the evil one etc wanted to destroy this position that was given to man and bring him to eternal destruction. This was the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil God warned man about that is what is the essence of Genesis 2 and 3. The spirit of man was always drawn towards evil and God but because of the divine providence of God man was overcome by evil but and was cut away from God. This fall was more than he anticipated because he withdrew from the source of eternal life in its ultimate essence. That is why he suffered in this world ( but he even finds pleasure in eternal pain). The love, mercy and grace of God was always with man despite his fall. The fall was so bad that the image of God in man was fully distorted and man began to associate himself with creation and began to love it more than the creator. His death was so devastating that even the dust of the universe was pleasurable. After he wallowed in this curse, his body would return to the fallen creation from whence it came ( Dust here is the fallen nature, the nature under the evil one). This was the helpless state of man. His mind was so corrupt that his mind would be constrained and manipulated by creation and the evil one. Since God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall have eternal life for god sent not his son into the world to condemn the world but that the world to him might be saved. Only because of divine love, mercy and grace did God send his son in the form of a fallen man under this curse. To precede that he did promise salvation to the whole world but he elected the Hebrews, the lowest and most hated race to bring salvation to the world because of divine mercy. He promised all the people in the world that they would be delivered from this captivity by God himself and he would justly destroy death and give man the victory in a war he never dreamed he would conquer. He also elected men among other men to remind man that he was sinful and God wants everyman to enjoy eternity in his presence and that he would elect a man among them that would conquer death and would bring eternal life to all mankind. Thus in the fullness of time God sent his word into the womb of a virgin and a man was conceived in the likeness of other men but was made flesh because of the power of the Holy Spirit of God. The son who was eternally in the bosom of the father was emptied into into the person of Jesus Christ the man. This man was full of the divine consciousness of the almighty God. He was cursed by the earthly race and in due time God handed him over to the evil powers of the earth. He was also cursed to die the filthiest death- the death on the cross. God completely forsook his only son and righteous man on the cross on behalf of all mankind .This man was crying out to God in the midst of this death and Hell. He was buried but the eternal and just wrath of God on behalf of man was quenched and he raised Jesus up from the dead and gave him glory, honor, might and dominion over all creation and through this man all mankind is saved. God's eternal plan is to bring everyone in Christ Jesus so that he can recreate this world and restore man to his original position. When God judges man he will reward man according to his good pleasure and eternal love. We will then be with our God for all eternity. This is the destiny of all saved men. When Christ comes again he will make all things new forever and ever amen.

I Don't Care

I don't know why the Lord God of heaven and earth loves me. The truth is I don't care because my mind cannot comprehend it. When we love another human being it is because we derive existential need out of him, it is the same reasons why some people love beasts but the Lord is not man, the fallen man's mind cannot comprehend this pure purpose God has for us. The truth is God loved us from the beginning and he will love us to the end and nothing can separate us from his love. I hated God so much, I was filled with sin at its best and hatred to its intensity but Christ died for me even then and inspite of knowing my hatred the Lord died for me. I can only fall and worship him for that for all eternity.

Of Choice

My mind would always ask me why the grass is always greener on the other side my answer would always lead me to something we know today as the Pareto optimality criterion but something always told me there is more to this than what is seen to the naked eye. Barry Schwartz talks about the paradox of choice and in one of his lectures he concludes by saying that 'Everybody needs his/her own fishbowl'. This reminds of the saying in the Bible "With much wisdom comes much grief", that means the wiser you become greater is the urge to get out of the fish bowl and this process requires great resolve. Let us view this from a different angle the wiser we are the more the revelation that everything around is vanity and foolishness and every choice we make on this earth is to choose the lesser of evil, no choice on earth is devoid of the law of 'The Pareto Optimality', there is no perfect choice only choices that seem to possess lesser of evil but may eventually turn out to be as evil as the rest. We can now view heaven from a different point of view, heaven is described in terms of extreme pleasure, wealth, happiness and comfort but people fail to define heaven in terms of the choices we make, do we have to make choices in heaven or is there someone who chooses the best for us? Either way we are unhappy this is because our minds are tuned to duality in choices either I do it or I don't do it, either we buy a car or don't buy it and 'Ever way we look at it we lose' so in heaven do we have a choice to choose pleasure in whatever way we want to or is it chosen by the divine? The answer is a yes and at the same time a huge resounding no, the answer might 'insult' both the eastern and western mind, the answer is Yes we are free to choose the source of our pleasure and no we cannot choose because we have no choice, this might sound ridiculous and insane but Why choose when you have the creator of choice in your midst? Why choose when you have perfection in your midst? There is no illustration available because it is not possible. We choose eternal pleasure in heaven but at the same time it is thrust upon us if this is not something to feel happy about how about a different explanation we are forced to embrace perfect pleasure devoid of Pareto's law because human choice on earth are cursed with freewill we now have the pleasure of enjoying the best without the burden of choice but this is a result of the choices we took on Earth, this means we are now choosing for eternity- weather we want to dwell in darkness(ignorance) or the light(Pursue Truth) and this is one choice that governs our fate. If we choose darkness God who respects freewill will do so but if we choose the light then we will reap the reward- We will never have to choose again, we will be partakers of perfection without having to work(choose) for it.

"Save me from this curse of choice and restore me to my former self when I had only thee"

In the beginning God created man and man was made in the image and likeness of God because he had no choice but to do God's will and God's will is only the perfection of goodness but one day he wanted to be the master of his choice by choosing to acknowledge the evil around him and from that day forward man no longer chose what God chose he chose the lesser of evil and this was the birth of the dreaded Pareto optimality criterion(Better Off Without Becoming Worse Off). From that day forward man gave birth to hell.

Pareto Optimality Criterion in this context is one element of you becoming better off with respect to another element also within you(choice in this context). Getting better off choosing something at the same time making yourself worse off for not choosing something else.

Paradise Lost

The rain hits the ground hard, the land no longer lingers with the fragrance of joy with which it receives its seasonal bliss. The night is still young and a shadowy figure is caught in nature's battleground , the sound of thunder resounds in the air and is complimented by the lightning's fury. The youngster cares less for these threats for he is caught between two roads, the one on his left seems secure, the storm fights to enter this zone but an invisible force does not let the evil proceed, he then sets his eyes upon the trail left by his loved ones and he sees the writing in the blue sunny side beyond beckoning him to proceed forward in its direction. It tells him of the life in that valley where their is no war, no labor, no pain and no sorrow but it flows with pleasure and rest forever. He then proceeds to look towards his right, he sees pain beyond comprehension, sharp rocks and thorns cover the surface and sees a figure of a man dressed with the garment of age walking towards the lone mountain, he leaves a red trail in his path and cries with anguish as he takes his next step. On the mountain he sees a congregation of a few ancient men who wear sorrow on their faces but their eyes are determined and they press forward in their journey. The young man looks at them with scorn and continues to press forward towards his left. The grass is smooth, so smooth that the young man flings his footwear with joy but the presence of a grave man leads him to curtail his emotions, he gestures for him not to proceed and insists that he should do so only with his footwear on. The youngster humors the stranger and inquires about his well being, the stranger only looks and him gravely and gestures to him that he has to move forward and disappears to the darkness beyond him. The youngster looks at him with distrust as he watches him disappear towards the path that leads him away from the valley. A momentary lapse in celebration brings some sobriety to the youngster's mind as he digs a grave to bury his footwear as a mark of respect to a man who proceeds to inevitable doom. He then presses his feet against the soft grass and smiles in pleasure. Beyond the dark green cushion lies a pool of cool clear blue water and the man proceeds remove his garment and enjoy a dip in the luxuriant liquid. He then looks at his skin which becomes ever so soft, like the skin of an infant. He is then joined by another companion, a woman with eyes as dark as coal, lips as red as blood, and the features of a Greek goddess. Her hair is in the color of onyx and her dark brown skin shines in the morning sun. The young man looks at this object with great joy as she calls his name and tells him that he is destined to be her companion for life. He then jumps out of the water and flings himself at his clothes and runs into her arms. She holds his hand ever so softly and smothers him with the sweetest of her kisses, he then proceeds to taste her lips that has the fragrance of Ambrosia that even Zeus is not worthy of partaking. She then leads him towards his palace that he is bound to inherit, he follows her speechless. They then reach the walls of the palace's perimeter and are welcomed by a thousand beautiful virgins. His companion then opens her beautiful lips and with the voice of a thousand angels tells him that he is the lord and master of this part of paradise. She then tells him that the only way he can forgo this paradise is by entering its library. The young man laughs the laugh of a scorner and enters his domain. For many years he partakes of the pleasures that lie within the walls of the palace. Then one day the young man starts to weep and cannot be consoled, he weeps and weeps for many days. The lady of the palace begins to despair and consults a physician who examines the patient. He concludes by saying that the only means that he can rid himself of his disease is to read the words of the only book in the library. The book is brought to his presence and as soon as he lays his fingertip on its hard bound cover the world around him disappears and he is left with nothing but the book and its words. He then discovers that the book is a magic books and its content furnishes him with the knowledge he needs to fulfill his destiny and the words of the book keep changing as his journeys progresses. He opens the book and on that cursed day his eyes fall upon the words " Young man pursue Knowledge and wisdom wherein lies pleasure and life everlasting". The young man retraces his steps and reaches the same pool of water where he met his former mistress. He looks at his image and sees that he has aged beyond his years because they were marred by lust. He then remembers the stranger who left him and reaches the spot where he buried his footwear, he notices that his footwear is as new as ever and with the smile of content he proceeds towards life.

Desperate Attempts

A lad who is barely fourteen feels that he cannot come in terms with his life, he is one kind of clay that fails to attain the image his master intended for him to become. He slowly acquires sufficient funds and proceeds to the retailer who furnishes him with the required merchandise. He carries the package home and looks at the mirror observing his features to the minutest detail, he looks and he sees the image of a victim of a greater conspiracy, something his young mind cannot comprehend. He then proceeds to his room and locks the door behind him and proceeds to seat himself on his study table. He looks upon his books and is suddenly engulfed with rage and violence that he proceeds to give the wall some unassuming knowledge, he then clenches his fists and vocalizes the last portion of his fury. His voice cannot be compared to singing canary but to a grizzly bear that had a bad day. A voice much further inquires about the unpleasant disturbance but is put to rest with the aid of the sweetest of replies much like an angel's. He then proceeds to the mirror again and places the package at its feet and slowly reveals the content within. He then looks intently into the image with his piercing eyes and this time looks upon a wretched image, an image that looks way beyond its age, he sees in the corner of its eyes sorrow a cursed sorrow not of a starving infant or an abused teenager but of a fool who tries to make sense of his existence in a society that expects something that he cannot provide . He then proceeds to his bed with the package in his hand throws himself upon it and his face is covered with a pillow and weeps, he weeps like a woman weeps for her dead infant and tears pour forth as the fury of Noah's flood.Minutes pass and then the lad begins to realize that he has no time to lose and he needs to fulfill his desire. His hands slowly moves towards the package and his fingers clutch it like a lover holds his lady. He then moves towards the mirror for one last time and looks upon his features which resemble the look of misery and hopelessness. He speaks to the contents of the package and says "You are my Saviour, there is none that can compare to you, your powers can kill my misery". He the looks upon the little object with care and proceeds to read its label to make sure that it is forbidden and it truly has the powers that it is said to possess, he is then convinced and pours the liquid down his throat in a flash and waits for the inevitable to happen. The liquid possess no nourishment but au contraire it is something that renders the flesh useless in its time. Its effects could be felt in his tongue which seems like a congregation of a thousand fires. The youngster proceeds to tear in suffering and exposes his beloved instrument to the liquid of life that renders the former useless. He has not given up hope yet, he still waits for his body to crumble but that again was not bound to happen, he then tares his his head in fury and leaves his room in a huff knowing that success comes only with perseverance and suffering. He contemplates that if his members could fight this battle so successfully and come forth glorious without and symptoms of suffering so can he if only he fights for his purpose which was unknown to him at that time but he is willing to learn and the only way to learn is to give himself the right to live till that glorious day appears.
